FAIR PLAY TEAM is a politically and religiously independent community with no membership fees. FAIR PLAY TEAM respects every child's right to live and play, to attend school, and to participate in physical activity, sports, music, and art on our planet.

FAIR PLAY Coach has founded the community FAIR PLAY TEAM, which has no membership fees. FAIR PLAY TEAM respects children’s rights all over the world – in disasters, in conflict zones, and in all circumstances – and defends them tirelessly.
Every child has the right to go to school, to practice physical activity, sports, arts, and music, and above all, to live in a world that respects our home planet, its climate, and nature.
The community was established on 18 April 2025 during the SAVE OUR SCHOOLS – S.O.S. in Ukraine project. This project supports Ukrainian schools and sports clubs and promotes children’s rights by giving them opportunities to participate in physical activity, music, and art, as well as to attend school.
Joining the FAIR PLAY Team is completely free. On the contrary—by joining the team, you can also promote your own work and share why you personally want to defend children’s rights: the right to go to school, to practice sports, physical activity, music, and art, and above all, the right to play with other children, whether the child belongs to a special group or not.
We publish each team member’s writings, photos, or video greetings to children around the world on our website: www.cype-academy.org, under the FAIR PLAY TEAM section.

FAIR PLAY Coach Timo Virtanen, who since August 21, 1995, has coordinated children’s rights to participate in sports, physical activities, and education in crisis areas, has also served as coordinator of the EVERYBODY IS IMPORTANT project. In honor of the project’s 30th anniversary, a community has been established with no membership fees or obligations – with one exception. The community’s only requirement is to respect every child’s right to live on our planet while protecting nature and the climate.
Timo Virtanen’s biography, FAIR PLAY Coach – Respect Children’s Rights, directs the proceeds from the book to support Ukrainian children’s education and extracurricular activities. The book will be published in the United States in spring 2026.
