On this United Nations Day, I would like to share an important update from our international initiative, SAVE OUR SCHOOLS – S.O.S. in Ukraine. While the world celebrates peace and cooperation, we are reminded of the harsh reality that one UN member state, Russia, continues to bomb civilians, schools, hospitals, and kindergartens — acts of terror that demand global attention and action.
Despite these tragic circumstances, our project continues to move forward with determination and hope.

Cooperation with the European UnionI am pleased to announce that the European Union has contacted us and provided guidance on where we can submit funding applications to support schools and sports clubs involved in our initiative. This represents a significant step forward for our project’s growth and stability.
At the same time, we are still waiting for responses from several universities regarding potential collaboration in sports education research — an area that remains a key focus of our long-term goals.

Progress of the FAIR PLAY Coach Book ProjectOur book project, FAIR PLAY Coach, is making excellent progress thanks to the professional team organized by Barnes & Noble, one of the largest publishing networks in the United States, with over 600 bookstores across the country.
We have now completed three design options for the book cover, and the next stages — image editing and proofreading — are underway. After final approval, we will launch a full marketing and communication campaign through various international channels.
If the book performs well, plans are already in place to create a film adaptation, which will bring even greater visibility and financial support to the SAVE OUR SCHOOLS project.

Sponsorship and Next Steps At present, we have one confirmed sponsor, but we are actively working to secure additional partnerships within the next two weeks. While funding through the EU and universities may take more time, sponsorships from our book and other initiatives will provide more immediate support to the schools and communities we help.
Every small step counts, and I truly believe we are moving in the right direction. I want to thank all our partners for their patience, strength, and commitment during these challenging times.

No matter how difficult the circumstances, our mission continues — to protect education, nurture young people through sports, and build a better future for Ukraine.
