Immediate Protection of Children’s Rights and Accountability for 2025 Failures

1. Introduction
The children of Planet Earth are the most affected by war, terrorism, and climate crisis.
They did not choose these conflicts.
Yet they bear the heaviest burden.
This submission is not an opinion. It is a moral and legal charge: the Security Council has failed to protect children and the planet in 2025.
2. Factual Basis – 2025

• 60,000–90,000 children killed or seriously injured in wars and terrorist attacks.
• Children targeted in airstrikes, missile attacks, and attacks on schools, hospitals, and homes.
• Systematic violence and terror against children continued without effective international response.

These are documented breaches of:

• UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
• International Humanitarian Law
• Rules protecting civilians and children in armed conflict

3. Charges

1. Against states and armed groups: Systematic violence and terrorism against children.
2. Against the Security Council: Structural and moral failure in 2025 to prevent these crimes:
   • paralysis due to veto power or political compromise
   • lack of enforcement against repeated violations
   • normalization of attacks on children’s rights

Silence or delay is complicity. War against children is a crime.
4. Planet Earth – Children’s Home
Armed conflict is also a climate crime:

• destroys carbon sinks
• increases greenhouse gas emissions
• locks environmental damage in for decades

By failing to prevent war, the Security Council permits the destruction of children’s habitat, violating rights of current and future generations.
5. Demands to the Security Council – 2026

1. Condemn unambiguously all violence, terrorism, and war against children.
2. Implement enforceable sanctions against perpetrators and commanders, including states.
3. Support independent investigations into war crimes and attacks on children.
4. Place children’s rights and protection at the center of all Security Council decisions.
5. Acknowledge 2025 failures publicly and implement a corrective action plan.

Peace is not optional. It is a duty.
Conclusion
Children of Planet Earth cannot wait.
2026 must mark accountability, protection, and the defense of their home: Planet Earth.
History will judge the Security Council by its action or inaction.
