Public Letter to the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and His Advisers
Dear President Donald Trump,
Dear Advisors,
I am writing to you today on behalf of the children of our planet — all those who live under the same Sun, regardless of the country they were born in or the circumstances in which they grow up.
The Sun has given its light to this world long before nations, borders, political systems, or economic agreements existed.
Its life-giving and philosophical power is one of the clearest reminders that every human being is important — not only those who carry influence, position, or authority, but also those who are the most vulnerable: the children.
The Sun does not discriminate.
It does not choose which children it loves more or less.
It does not look at race, religion, nationality, wealth, disability, or family background.
It gives life-sustaining energy to every child on Earth — quietly, consistently, equally.
For this reason, I ask you, Mr. President, and your advisers:
Do you know why the Sun gives its life energy to all the children of the world?
Because life itself belongs to everyone.
Because no single individual, no government, no corporation, and no political system can own the Sun or its gift.
The Sun is not a business.
The Sun is not a weapon.
The Sun is not a bargaining tool.
And it cannot become the judge that decides which children deserve to live and which do not.
Therefore, I respectfully ask a serious and essential question:
Does any human being have the right to decide which children are allowed to live on our planet if the Sun — the very source of life — gives them that right without hesitation?
Can any person or government say: “These children belong under the Sun, but these do not”?
I believe the answer is clear:
No. Not now. Not ever.
The children of the world need peace.
They need the chance to grow, to attend school, to learn, to build their future, to draw their first drawings, to sing, to dance, to play music, to practice sports — to live a full childhood without the shadow of fear.
They need a planet that is livable, safe, and peaceful.
Earth is their only home — just as it is ours.
Mr. President,
For many decades, the United States has been one of the world’s most influential defenders of peace, security, and children’s rights.
I hope that you and your administration will have the wisdom, courage, and compassion to recognize what the Sun has always known:
No child is more valuable than another.
Every child is worthy of life.
Under the Sun, EVERYBODY IS IMPORTANT.
I ask you, your advisers, and leaders across the world to remember that the future of our planet depends on how we treat the most vulnerable among us.
Children cannot wait.
They need light now — from the sky above and from us adults.
Let me end with this, clearly and without wavering:
Under the Sun, every child has the right to live.
It is a right that must never be taken away.
It is a right that must be defended.
It is a right that belongs to all — forever.
And finally, Mr. President,
I ask you to reflect on this not only as a leader, but as a father and a grandfather:
Are your own children and grandchildren more deserving of the Sun’s light than any other child on Earth --
or does the Sun illuminate them with the same equal, unconditional value that it gives to every child of humanity?
Because under the sun,
EVERYBODY IS IMPORTANT.
