SPORT AGAINST VIOLENCE
EVERYBODY IS IMPORTANT in AFGHANISTAN project 2005-2020.

The Lion of Finland speech 17.08.2011. Marefat High School Kabul city Afghanistan.

Dear friends at Marefat High School,
Today, August 17th, 2011, we celebrate FAIR PLAY DAY. I am truly happy to see all of you, and I want to thank Marefat High School from the bottom of my heart for inviting me to share this special day of sports and friendship with you.
This day is part of a greater mission: SPORT AS A PEACE MISSION, the theme day of the Afghanistan Olympic Committee, and our own theme day SPORT AGAINST VIOLENCE. Today, these two missions come together to celebrate the same message: EVERYBODY IS IMPORTANT in Afghanistan.
The year 2005 was declared the United Nations Year of Physical Education, calling all organizations to support young people around the world. Our EVERYBODY IS IMPORTANT project chose Afghanistan as the country to focus on.
In Finland, many sports clubs, organizations, and families wanted to help. Together, we collected school materials that were sent to Afghan schools with the support of NATO/ISAF forces. Thousands of children received the tools they needed to learn, grow, and dream. The first school to receive help was Surobi Girl School in November 2006.
In 2008, I began participating in heavyweight PR boxing matches to raise more school supplies for Afghan children. I have now fought six Sport Against Violence matches, and today, here in the yard of Marefat High School, is my seventh – all in the spirit of FAIR PLAY.
I want to emphasize that every child in the world – especially girls – has the right to go to school, to learn to read and write, to sing, play, and enjoy sports. This is a fundamental right, a seed of hope that can grow into a brighter future.
Sports is a path to peace. On football fields and sports grounds, children from many backgrounds play together. Sports unite us across colors, religions, and cultures. Here, we can make friends, work together, and play in the true spirit of FAIR PLAY.
Today, I hope that all of us here at Marefat High School, and throughout Afghanistan, will embrace FAIR PLAY both on and off the sports fields. I am grateful to be here with you, my friends, to share joy, friendship, and to work together to build a more peaceful world.
A special heartfelt thanks to the Afghanistan Olympic Committee and its President, General Akhbar, as well as my dear friend Dr. Anwar Yousefi, Taekwondo Master and Founder of Taekwondi ITF Academy in Kabul, for their support and friendship in this mission.
Together, through sports and physical education, we show that every child is important and deserves the chance to dream, learn, and thrive.

World Children & Youth Physical Education Academy -  ( C.Y.P.E. - Academy )

SAVE OUR SCHOOLS – S.O.S. in Ukraine

Immediate Launch of European Cooperation and Project Leadership
The project initiated on 18 April 2025 by the World Children & Youth Physical Education Academy (C.Y.P.E.-Academy) enters a new and decisive phase with the immediate launch of cooperation with its newly established European member organization, the European Children & Youth Physical Education Academy – (E.C.Y.P.E.-Academy) ry.

The E.C.Y.P.E.-Academy assumes full leadership of the project in Europe, while the C.Y.P.E.-Academy provides continuous global support, international coordination, expertise, and advocacy at the worldwide level.
This structure strengthens the project’s operational capacity, credibility, and long-term sustainability across Europe and conflict-affected regions.
Together, both organizations stand united in defending children’s fundamental rights, promoting peace through education and sport, and actively opposing terrorism and war crimes, particularly those committed against children, schools, and civilian communities in Ukraine.

Purpose and Objectives of the Project
The main objectives of the project are to:
  • Support physical education and sports opportunities in schools and youth sports clubs in war-affected areas, especially in the Mykolaiv region of Southern Ukraine.
  • Provide psychological and physical well-being for children and youth through safe, structured activities – recognizing that sport and physical education are powerful tools for trauma recovery, resilience, and community rebuilding.
  • Deliver school supplies and sports equipment directly to schools and youth sports organizations in need.
  • Build and communicate a strong message of hope, justice, equality, and human dignity, even while children are living in the midst of armed conflict.
    (EVERYBODY IS IMPORTANT)
The project also aims to develop sustainable long-term structures, including the training of local teachers and coaches to work effectively with traumatized children, using child-centered, rights-based, and trauma-informed educational and physical activity methods.
(EVERYBODY IS IMPORTANT)

Children’s Rights, Physical Education, and Courage in Conflict Zones

This project is founded on the absolute and non-negotiable principle that children’s rights must be protected at all times, including during war.
Children have the right to safety, education, play, physical activity, and a future free from fear.
Physical education and sport are not secondary activities in conflict zones – they are essential humanitarian tools. They help protect children from exploitation, radicalization, and psychological collapse, while strengthening peace, solidarity, and resistance against violence and terror.
The C.Y.P.E.-Academy and E.C.Y.P.E.-Academy courageously condemn all acts of terrorism and war crimes, especially attacks targeting schools, children, and educational environments in Ukraine.
Through this project, the organizations actively promote international cooperation, civil courage, and joint action against violence and injustice.

🤝 Cooperation Partners
The project is implemented in cooperation with multiple stakeholders:
  • Local sports clubs and schools – including the GO FLAMO Athletics Club from Mykolaiv and schools in Snihurivka (Schools No. 1 and 3), which are among the first participating institutions.
    (EVERYBODY IS IMPORTANT)
  • International and humanitarian organizations – the project EVERYBODY IS IMPORTANT has previously cooperated with organizations such as the United Nations and NATO peacekeeping forces (SFOR, ISAF) in other conflict regions. These international networks also support the implementation of activities in Ukraine.
    (EVERYBODY IS IMPORTANT)
  • Sponsors and supporters – the project actively seeks funding partners and supporters from different countries to ensure growth, continuity, and long-term impact.
    (EVERYBODY IS IMPORTANT)

👤 Project Coordinator and Background
The Chief Project Coordinator is Timo Virtanen, who also serves as the Director of the World Children & Youth Physical Education Academy (C.Y.P.E.-Academy).
(EVERYBODY IS IMPORTANT)
Background of Timo Virtanen
  • He is a Finnish professional in physical education and education with over 35 years of experience in developing physical education and youth programs, including extensive work in conflict and post-conflict regions.
  • Virtanen has served as a project coordinator in several previous developmental and humanitarian programs, including in Bosnia and Herzegovina (1998–1999) and Afghanistan (2005–2020), prior to the launch of the Ukraine project.
His work is driven by a deep commitment to children’s rights, peace education, and the use of sport as a tool against violence, exclusion, and terror.

Final Statement of Commitment
The C.Y.P.E.-Academy and E.C.Y.P.E.-Academy stand together with courage and determination to protect children, schools, and educational communities.
This project is not only humanitarian work – it is a clear moral stance:
Children are not targets.
Schools are not battlefields.
Sport and education are forces for peace.

EVERYBODY IS IMPORTANT.

SPEECH:
The Rights of Physical Education in Infancy
– The Blind Spot of Research
Timo Virtanen
General Manager
World Children & Youth Physical Education Academy
(C.Y.P.E. – Academy)

Distinguished researchers, representatives of universities,
EU decision-makers, funders, and international organizations,
Today, I ask a question that has been ignored for far too long:
Why are infants from special and vulnerable groups almost invisible in physical education research?

Where are the studies that examine, from a physical education perspective,
– deaf infants
– blind infants
– infants with cerebral palsy
– infants with multiple disabilities
– neurodivergent infants
– infants born in war and crisis zones
Not from the perspective of therapy.
Not only from medicine.

But from the perspective of physical education, embodied learning, movement, safety, dignity, and inclusion.

Movement Does Not Begin at Birth – It Begins in Water
It is astonishing that while we know:
  • bodily experience begins in the womb
  • amniotic fluid is the first movement environment
  • balance, sensory, and motor systems develop before speech
we still treat infant swimming and aquatic movement as a hobby, a risk, or merely a form of therapy --
not as an educational right.
Water is not foreign to a baby.
It is the first environment in which humans learn rhythm, movement, and security.

Why Is the Research Missing?
We must have the courage to say this out loud:
  • infants with disabilities are considered “too risky” to study
  • physical education has remained in the shadow of medicine
  • research funding favors what is fast, measurable, and safe
  • ethical concerns are too often used as excuses for exclusion
But I ask you:
Do not the most vulnerable children have the greatest right to be studied, seen, and included?

This Is a Human Rights Issue
An infant’s right to move, develop, and experience bodily safety is:
  • at the very core of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child
  • a fundamental issue of equality
  • the foundation of future health, learning, and participation
When infants from special groups are excluded from research,
they are denied recognition as full members of society from the very beginning of life.

We Need a New Kind of Research – Together
We do not oppose medicine.
On the contrary.
We demand:
  • genuine cooperation between physical education and medical sciences
  • shared ethical research protocols
  • interdisciplinary research teams
  • courage from universities to step outside their comfort zones
Infant movement is not only rehabilitation.
It is learning, interaction, identity formation, and hope.

Especially in War and Crisis Zones
In Ukraine and other crisis areas:
  • infants’ psychological and bodily safety has been shattered
  • stress, explosions, displacement, and fear affect neurological development
  • reconstruction focuses on buildings — not bodies
But a child is not built from concrete.
A child is built from movement, touch, and safe embodied experience.

A Wake-Up Call to the EU and Universities
We demand:
  • that the EU recognizes physical education in infancy as its own research field
  • that special and vulnerable groups are included in projects — not excluded
  • that infant swimming and aquatic movement are recognized as educational rights
  • that infants in war and crisis zones are included in reconstruction strategies
This is not a marginal issue.
This is one of the greatest research gaps in Europe and the world.

In Closing
At the World Children & Youth Physical Education Academy, we state this clearly:
No infant is too small, too disabled, or too vulnerable to be seen in physical education.
The role of research is not only to measure what is easy.
Its role is to defend what is right.
Now is the time for change.

Thank you.

STATEMENT IN DEFENSE OF THE WORLD’S CHILDREN

World Children & Youth Physical Education Academy (C.Y.P.E.-Academy)
Chairman: Timo Virtanen
Addressed to:
The European Union,
World leaders,
Member States of the United Nations,
and leaders of the world’s churches and religious communities

Every child is inviolable – there are no exceptions in war
We are living in a time when the suffering of children in wars is once again becoming dangerously normalized.
Bombings, shrapnel, fear, and death have become part of the daily news cycle — and precisely for that reason, we must stop and take a stand.
This is something we cannot and must not accept.
No child is a weapon of war.
No child is collateral damage.
No child is an acceptable price for power, territory, or ideology.
International law is clear and absolute on this matter:
  • Children are civilians under special protection in armed conflict.
  • Children’s hospitals, maternity hospitals, schools, kindergartens, and civilian homes are protected objects.
  • Deliberate or reckless attacks against them constitute war crimes and often crimes against humanity.
This applies to all wars, without exception, including:
  • political wars
  • religious wars
  • ethnic and ideological conflicts
No ideology, religion, flag, or state justifies harming a child.
Never. Anywhere.

Ukraine – children’s suffering is not a side effect, but the result of crimes
Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine has shown the world, in a brutal and undeniable way, that:
  • children are being killed
  • children are being injured and permanently disabled
  • children are being traumatized
  • children are being abducted and forcibly transferred
These are not statistics.
They are names, faces, families, and shattered lives.
Attacks on children’s hospitals, schools, and civilian areas are not accidents, mistakes, or unfortunate incidents.
They are serious and documented violations of international humanitarian law.
Responsibility for these acts lies unequivocally with the attacking party.

The responsibility of the EU – delays also have consequences
C.Y.P.E.-Academy holds that the European Union bears a special moral and political responsibility to protect children — not only in words, but in concrete action.
When:
  • EU sanctions are weakened or delayed
  • military and financial support to Ukraine is slowed down
  • a common European line is diluted for national interests
this can have an indirect but real and human impact:
  • prolonging the war
  • weakening Ukraine’s ability to defend itself
  • increasing the risk of civilian casualties, including children
In this context, we raise serious concern about the repeated opposition or delaying positions of the governments of Hungary and Slovakia regarding EU sanctions against Russia, which has caused widespread concern in Europe and beyond.
We do not accuse these states of war crimes — responsibility lies with Russia --
but we state clearly and responsibly that decisions, and the absence of decisions, have consequences for children who have done nothing to deserve suffering.

An appeal to world leaders and religious communities
We call upon:
  • political leaders around the world
  • UN Member States
  • leaders of churches and religious communities
to show courage, moral integrity, and decisive action.
Protecting children is not:
  • left-wing or right-wing
  • Western or Eastern
  • Christian, Muslim, or tied to any other religion
It is a universal human obligation that transcends borders, ideologies, and power politics.
Religious leaders carry a particular responsibility to:
  • stand unequivocally against violence directed at children
  • condemn the killing and harming of children without conditions
  • be the voice of children instead of remaining silent in a world where children are too often silenced

Every child is equal under the same sun
C.Y.P.E.-Academy reminds the world of a principle that began in Finland on 21 August 1995:
EVERYBODY IS IMPORTANT
This is not merely a project.
It is a promise.
It is a moral choice.
  • Every child matters
  • Every child has dignity
  • Every child deserves to live in safety
Regardless of:
  • country of birth
  • skin color
  • religion
  • language
  • political circumstances

In conclusion: history is watching us
History will not ask what we explained.
History will ask what we did.
The world will remember whether:
  • we defended children
  • or whether we justified the wars of adults
Children’s rights are not negotiable.
Children’s lives are not a geopolitical bargaining chip.
We demand:
  • stronger international action to protect children
  • clearer accountability
  • the courage to place the best interests of the child above all else
Silence is not neutral.
Silence is taking sides.
And when it comes to children, there is only one right side.

Statement in Defense of Children’s Rights – Zero Tolerance for Terrorism in EuropeWorld Children & Youth Physical Education Academy (C.Y.P.E. – Academy) declares its full, open, and uncompromising support for the newly established European organization:
European Children & Youth Physical Education Academy (E.C.Y.P.E. – Academy).
The establishment of this new European organization is a value-based and deliberate response to the growing lack of trust in the European Union’s ability to defend the fundamental rights of children and young people. Over the years, emerging cases of corruption, deficiencies in financial oversight, and the erosion of accountability have weakened confidence in systems that should first and foremost protect the most vulnerable — children.
C.Y.P.E. – Academy cannot and will not remain silent in a situation where the consequences of war, terrorism, and political compromises fall upon children.
No Compromises on Children’s Rights
Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine has demonstrated in the most brutal way how children are systematically turned into instruments and victims of war.
Attacks on schools and hospitals, the forced displacement of children, the destruction of families, and constant fear constitute serious violations of international law and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
We do not accept any political actions in Europe that indirectly justify, downplay, or normalize terrorism, the killing of civilians, or violations of children’s rights.
Children’s lives, safety, and future are not negotiable.
Finland – The Home of Peacebuilding
The European Children & Youth Physical Education Academy (E.C.Y.P.E. – Academy) is founded in Finland, a country internationally recognized for peacebuilding, the rule of law, and the promotion of human rights.
Finland’s history also includes profound and painful experiences of violence and pressure exercised by Russia and the Soviet Union. This historical reality has taught us that freedom, human dignity, and children’s rights cannot be defended by words alone — they require action, moral backbone, and courage.
Action, Not Silence
The board of the new European organization includes three Ukrainian professionals in physical education and youth work, all with direct, lived experience of the war’s impact on children and young people. The entire board is committed to defending children’s rights through practical action in war and crisis zones, beginning in the Mykolaiv region of Ukraine.
World Children & Youth Physical Education Academy (C.Y.P.E. – Academy) supports E.C.Y.P.E. – Academy by all available means and works together with it to eradicate corruption, strengthen transparency, and combat terrorism directed against children’s rights in Europe.
Physical Education Is Resistance to Terrorism

We believe that physical education is more than physical activity. It is:
  • resistance to violence
  • a means of healing children traumatized by war
  • a way to restore dignity, hope, and belief in the future
We defend every child --
in Ukraine, in Europe, and everywhere terrorism seeks to steal childhood.
We do not look away.
We do not remain silent.
We do not give up.

Children’s rights are absolute.
And for them, we take action.

Thank You
World Children & Youth Physical Education Academy – (C.Y.P.E.-Academy) wishes to express its deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to our only sponsor of the year 2025, who has chosen to remain anonymous.
Thanks to your generous support, our Academy was able to deliver vital humanitarian and educational aid to schools and sports clubs across Ukraine. This support included essential school supplies, learning materials, and sports equipment—items that, for many children and young people, represent their only opportunity to learn, to move, and to experience moments of normal childhood in the midst of war.
Your contribution also made it possible for us, together with our partners, to organize physical education days for Ukrainian children. These were not merely sports events. They were moments of safety, joy, healing, and hope—moments where children could laugh, play, and feel human again despite the trauma surrounding them. Without your support, none of this would have been possible.
Supporting schools and sports clubs in Ukraine is critically important. They are not just institutions or buildings; they are safe spaces for children and young people—places of recovery, growth, dignity, and hope for the future. Physical education offers strength, resilience, community, and a pathway to heal from the psychological and emotional wounds caused by war.
Your quiet yet decisive support reflects a truly compassionate heart, deep responsibility, and genuine care for the future of children and youth. Even though your name is not public, your impact lives on in every child who was given the chance to move, to learn, and to smile—even for a brief moment.
On behalf of our entire Academy and all our partners,
thank you for your trust, your humanity, and your courage to help when it matters most.
With profound respect and warm gratitude,
Timo Virtanen

A Letter to World Leaders and Religious Leaders
A Letter to World Leaders and Religious Leaders
Dear world leaders,
dear religious leaders,
I am a child from Ukraine.
I used to live in Mariupol.
War took my leg when a missile hit our city.
In that same attack, I lost my parents.
I am alone now.
Seven of my friends are buried in a cemetery.
They were children like me.
They wanted to play, learn, laugh, and grow up.
I cannot run in the yard anymore.
I cannot play the way I used to.
I cannot swim, because the water is no longer clean or safe after the missiles.
I do not want to live in basements or bomb shelters.
I do not want to learn the sounds of weapons.
I want to go to school without fear.
I want to find new friends outside, not in the dark underground.
I want a childhood.
Not survival.
You talk about power, borders, and strategy.
We children talk about safety, games, and tomorrow.
You have the power to stop wars.
We do not.
I ask you:
How many children must still be injured, lose their parents, or be buried before you stop?
Religious leaders,
you speak about love, mercy, and human dignity.
Where are these values when children suffer in wars?
World leaders,
you hold responsibility and power.
Please use them to protect children.
We are not enemies.
We are children.
Stop wars for our sake.
Give us a chance to live, to play, and to dream in peace.
With hope,
a child from Mariupol

MANIFESTO FOR WORLD PEACE
For the Future of Children, the Planet, and Humanity
A Historical Declaration and Appeal
IntroductionWe are living in an era in which humanity’s moral compass is being put to the test.
Wars continue across different parts of the world. Children lose their lives, their homes, their education, and their futures. At the same time, the planet’s climate is being burdened in unprecedented ways—not only by industry, but also by wars and the arms industry.
This manifesto is born from the need to speak aloud a truth that can no longer be ignored:
  • Without peace, there is no sustainable development.
  • Without the protection of children, there is no future for humanity.
 I. The Foundation of World Peace Leadership – The Moral Power of Women
Historical and contemporary examples demonstrate that women—especially those closely connected to life, protection, and nurturing—represent a form of leadership that places life above power.
Motherhood Strengthens the Defense of Children’s RightsA woman who has given birth to and raised a child has experienced, in concrete terms, the vulnerability and value of life. Research and practical examples show that women leaders emphasize in their decision-making:
  • children’s education
  • healthcare
  • social security
  • peaceful solutions instead of conflict
Evidence of the Impact of Women’s Leadership
Jacinda Ardern (New Zealand)
  • Led the country empathetically through crises (Christchurch terrorist attack, COVID-19)
  • Emphasized child well-being, mental health, and family support

Ellen Johnson Sirleaf (Liberia) – Nobel Peace Prize Laureate
  • Led her country out of civil war
  • Strengthened education, children’s rights, and the status of women
Leymah Gbowee (Liberia)
  • Peace activist and mother
  • Led a mass women’s peace movement that forced warring parties to the negotiating table
Graça Machel (Mozambique)
  • Internationally recognized advocate for children’s rights
  • Her UN report fundamentally changed global attitudes toward child soldiers
Malala Yousafzai (Pakistan)
  • As a child, herself a victim of violence
  • Defends girls’ education globally
Common Denominators
  • Protecting life instead of pursuing power
  • Placing children and future generations at the center of decision-making
  • The ability to lead without fear, weapons, or coercion
  • Moral authority, not military force
Core Message
The world does not need stronger weapons—it needs stronger empathy.
A mother who has held a child in her arms knows what peace truly means. She does not lead for power, but to protect life.
II. Historical Assessment: Why World Peace Has Failed
Historical facts show that:
  • The majority of wars have been initiated by decisions of male leaders
  • Armament has been prioritized over education and children’s well-being
  • The climate crisis has been worsened by military activity
  • Children’s rights have repeatedly been ignored in the name of “security policy”

Emotional Intelligence and Empathy Are the Core of Leadership
Women leaders, on average, demonstrate:
  • higher emotional intelligence
  • better listening skills
  • less authoritarian leadership
These qualities are crucial when:
  • preventing wars
  • protecting children
  • building global cooperation

III. Wars and Climate – The Silenced Connection
Wars:
  • destroy soil and water systems
  • pollute air and ecosystems
  • significantly increase carbon dioxide emissions
  • prevent sustainable development for generations
There is no climate solution without peace.

IV. An Appeal to Religious Leaders
Religious traditions recognize the moral significance of the mother.
The Virgin Mary, the mother of Jesus, is:
  • a symbol of love and compassion
  • a protector of the child
  • a mother of peace
If humanity wishes to live according to religious values, it must bring the moral authority of motherhood into the heart of politics.

V. The Demands of the Manifesto
We demand:
  • that children’s rights be established as the primary measure of world peace
  • systematic accounting of the climate impacts of wars and the arms industry
  • strengthening women’s leadership in global peacebuilding
  • elevating non-violence as a principle of international politics
  • the immediate cessation of ongoing wars
Humanity does not need more technocrats or military strategists.
It needs a mother who understands that every bomb strikes a child—somewhere, in someone’s arms.

VI. Evidence of the Destructive Impact of Male Leaders’ Decisions on Children and the Planet
1. Decisions of World War II (1939–1945)
  • Leaders: Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Joseph Stalin
  • Impact on children: millions died, children were used in war roles, families were destroyed
  • Impact on the planet: cities and infrastructure destroyed, nature and soil severely damaged

2. The Vietnam War (1955–1975)
  • Leaders: Lyndon B. Johnson, Richard Nixon, Ho Chi Minh
  • Children: over 2 million civilians killed, Agent Orange caused developmental disorders
  • Planet: deforestation, ecosystem collapse, soil contamination

3. The Iraq and Gulf Wars (1990–2003)
  • Leaders: George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush, Saddam Hussein
  • Children: hundreds of thousands died, malnutrition and lack of healthcare
  • Planet: oil field fires, air and water pollution, increased CO₂ emissions
4. Cold War Arms Race (1947–1991)
  • Leaders: Harry S. Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Nikita Khrushchev, Ronald Reagan
  • Children: threat of nuclear war, poverty, displacement
  • Planet: radioactive contamination, massive consumption of natural resources
5. Syrian Civil War (2011–present)
  • Leaders: Bashar al-Assad, foreign actors
  • Children: millions displaced, famine, loss of education
  • Planet: infrastructure destruction, water and soil contamination
6. Yemen Conflict (2015–present)
  • Leaders: Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi, Mohammed bin Salman and coalition
  • Children: over 50,000 killed, displacement, psychological trauma
  • Planet: infrastructure destruction, water pollution, soil degradation
7. Israeli–Palestinian Conflicts (1948–present)
  • Leaders: Israeli prime ministers, Palestinian leaders
  • Children: thousands killed, interrupted schooling, psychological trauma
  • Planet: destruction of buildings and schools, water contamination, infrastructure collapse

8. Iran’s Military Actions (Iran–Iraq War, involvement in Syria and Yemen)
  • Leaders: Ruhollah Khomeini, Ali Khamenei
  • Children: hundreds of thousands killed, interrupted education, physical and psychological trauma
  • Planet: infrastructure destruction, pollution, deforestation, increased CO₂ emissions

VII. Evidence of the Consequences of Decisions by Chinese Leaders
1. The Great Leap Forward (1958–1962, Mao Zedong)
  • Children: 15–45 million died, malnutrition, loss of education
  • Planet: deforestation, soil depletion, strain on water resources
2. The Cultural Revolution (1966–1976)
  • Children: schools closed, political violence
  • Planet: destruction of infrastructure and historical sites
3. Modern China (Deng Xiaoping – Xi Jinping)
  • Children: child labor, air pollution, inequality in education and healthcare
  • Planet: CO₂ emissions, water pollution, biodiversity loss
4. Contemporary China (Xi Jinping, 2012–present)
  • Children: respiratory illnesses, limited access to clean water
  • Planet: world’s largest CO₂ emitter, infrastructure projects destroying ecosystems

VIII. Evidence of the Consequences of Putin’s DecisionsWar in Ukraine (2014–present)
  • Children: hundreds of thousands displaced, deaths, destruction of schools and hospitals, psychological trauma
  • Planet: increased CO₂ emissions, infrastructure destruction, damage to agricultural land
Economic and Political Impacts on Europe’s Climate
  • forced restructuring of energy policy due to fossil fuel dependence
  • short-term increase in coal and natural gas use
  • long-term difficulty in building a sustainable energy system
IX. Why Male-Dominated Global Leadership Has Failed at Peace
  • the largest wars have been initiated by male leaders
  • armament has overridden education
  • the climate crisis has been worsened by wars and the arms industry
  • children’s rights have been subordinated to “security policy”
👉 War is not a failure—it is a deliberate decision.
The current world order is built on power, not protection.
This leadership model is detached from responsibility toward future generations.

X. Final DeclarationHumanity will not collapse due to a lack of knowledge, but due to a lack of moral courage.
The world does not need stronger weapons.
It needs leadership that protects children, the planet, and life.
The world has seen where fear-based male leadership leads.
Now humanity needs a leader who has held a child in their arms and asks before every decision:
“Is this safe for children?”
This manifesto is a call to pause.
This manifesto is a call to peace.
This manifesto is a call to the future.
